As part of Phizzfest 2023, Cineál have created a sonic installation at three public spaces. We will broadcast sounds of local social, cultural and historic importance into Phibsborough's streetscapes. The installation invites you to listen to found and archival material and to the live sounds of the festival, summoning and creating individual, collective and imagined memories.
Sounds will be played into the streets or located QR codes will link to others. Share your reflections on the sonic experience below.


1. Listen above to Ste Murray read from Ulysses, Chapter 'Hades' by James Joyce and follow the charachters as they travel from Berkeley Street to Cross Guns Bridge to Glasnevin Cemetery.

2. Near Doyle's corner listen to the cowbells which ring out the historic social life of Phibsborough marking the event of the cattle run along the North Circular Road. SOUND COMING SOON.  













3. At Phibsborough shopping centre you can hear the echoes of the supporters of Bohemians's football as they chant and sing to the players on the field. SOUND COMING SOON.
